KCB in partnership with EAC to elevate the East Africa Youth Awards (EAYA) 2023
KCB Bank has partnered with the East African Community Secretariat to elevate the new East Africa Youth Awards which aims at recognizing the outstanding trailblazers among the youth of the East Africa region.
The awards among other things act as a tool to promote and foster youth engagement in the regional integration. The EAYA focuses on innovative and creative ideas that address the contemporary demands and challenges of the EAC community in areas of social and economic featuring 40 categories.
“KCB bank has been at the forefront of youth empowerment through our 2jiajiri flagship project that seeks at improving economic well-being through skills and enterprise development. We believe our participation in these awards will provide another avenue for youth prosperity in the region,” said the Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs, Christine Manyenye representing the Managing Director.
KCB Bank has injected an amount of Tsh 10,000,000 with the expectation to explore more avenues that will bring sustainability to the project.
