On Friday, August 2nd, in anticipation of the KCB East Africa Golf Tour 2024, KCB Bank Tanzania hosted a noteworthy staff engagement event. The Bank had the distinct honor of welcoming KCB Group CEO Paul Russo, who provided a comprehensive overview of KCB Bank Tanzania’s strategic direction.
Following his address, the staff had the privilege of hearing from Cosmas Kimario, Group Regional Businesses Director and KCB Bank Tanzania Managing Director. His inspiring remarks acknowledged the Bank’s achievements while motivating the team with a vision of future success. He encouraged staff to seize opportunities across the Group and commended the talents from KCB Bank Tanzania who have made valuable contributions to other subsidiaries.
On the other hand, Laurence Kimathi, KCB Group Director of Finance, expressed his commitment to the event, citing the Bank's strong performance as a key factor. Additionally, Masika Mukule, KCB Bank Burundi, Managing Director praised KCB Bank Tanzania’s notable progress, emphasizing significant improvements compared to his previous experiences in Tanzania.
Willis Mbatia, Executive Director presented key performance indicators, highlighting the significant accomplishments achieved in the first half of the year. The evening then transitioned to a more relaxed setting with vibrant staff entertainment, allowing everyone to unwind and connect. The event culminated in an enjoyable dinner, fostering camaraderie and strengthening team spirit.
