KCB Bank has hosted a graduation ceremony for 295 youth under KCB 2jiajiri programme in Mwanza region. This is part of the Sh2.2 billion partnership between KCB Foundation and Germany Development Corporation (GIZ) to empower 960 youth in the construction sector.
The event was graced by the Ilemela District Commissioner Hon.Hassan Massala on behalf of the Regional Commissioner who commended KCB Bank for its efforts to empower youth in Tanzania arguing that it will help to improve lives while creating a self-sufficient nation by improving the quality of the country’s labor force.
The Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs, Christine Manyenye said “This re-affirms KCB Bank's commitment to transform the lives of people beyond making a profit. We are happy to have successfully implemented this project and today we are rewarding beneficiaries with certificates and 79 toolkits to support enterprises development. It is our belief that this project will deliver a long-lasting impact in their communities.”
